Enjoy excellent Taste of Nova Scotia approved cuisine and superb service in our fireside dining room and Oceanview Lounge, featuring fresh local seafood. We are known for our Sunday Brunch, which runs from mid June until mid October. Whether an intimate dinner for two, or a meal with your family, our award-winning menu and extensive wine list are sure to please. We offer over 25 different varieties of the finest single malt Scotches. The dining room is open from 7 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.. Room service is also available.

The Rotunda is the ideal spot to enjoy breakfast or relax over lunch. Also available for private dinner parties of up to 50 people. Breakfast: Regular breakfast service or self-serve continental is served from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. daily. During Sunday brunch, breakfast is served till 10:00 a.m. only. Lunch: Lunch is available, starting mid June to mid October, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m..

Dinner: Our dining room is open for regular evening dining starting mid May from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m..

Relax after dinner beside our 25-foot fireplace; our selection includes more than 25 single malt Scotches. The Oceanview Lounge is open until 11 p.m.. Room service is also available.

Sunday Brunch at Pictou Lodge

Join us this summer for a Pictou County tradition! Our popular Sunday Brunch, which runs from mid June until mid October, features a wide variety of extraordinary seafood dishes and Maritime fare, including the ever-popular Lobster Benedict, seafood casserole, omelet station and much more. Treat yourself to Brunch at Pictou Lodge Resort, complete with live entertainment. Brunch is offered every Sunday, starting mid June to mid October, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with the last seating at 1:30 p.m.. Reservations are required.

Pictou Lodge Resort has banquet facilities for up to 120 guests. Our catering services include breakfast, lunch and dinner menus, with a variety of options to suit any function.

Pictou Lodge Resort is the closest accommodation to PEI ferry terminal. Featuring historical log architecture, the resort is located on 165 acres of wooded land, with over 1/2 km of ocean frontage and a private beach where guests can enjoy swimming and sunbathing. We have bicycles available to explore the area. Pictou Lodge Resort has a longstanding reputation as a Pictou County landmark. Whether you are staying with us as a guest, or just dropping by for a visit, everyone is welcome to enjoy this beautiful oceanside property.

Canoes and paddleboats are available for guest use in our large fresh water pond.

Sea-kayaking instruction is available on our pond; we also offer Adventure Vacation Packages that include accommodations, dining and kayaking instruction from Coastal Spirit Expeditions. Our recreational area has propane barbeques for guest use, with a heated outdoor pool. The swimming pool is available from 10:00 a.m. to dusk. The video games and exercise room has an exercise bike stepper, exercise gym, and coin operated arcade games and pool table. Lawn games include volleyball, horseshoes and a basketball hoop. That’s our LIFE-SIZED checkerboard in the foreground! We also have a fire pit on the beach and a mini driving range. During July and August, we offer special children's activities daily. Experience the beauty of this region while walking the VanWesten Nature Trail, through forested grounds and along the beach. It is a great area for bird watchers, photographers and outdoor enthusiasts. There are abundant opportunities for birdwatching at Pictou Lodge Resort.
